Software Engineer II
$120k - $155kCox Automotive is seeking a Software Engineer II to build scalable, high-performance applications that power our automotive marketplace brands. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain backend and API services in a cloud environment, collaborating with product, QA, and DevOps teams. You'll write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and help improve system reliability and performance. You'll work in an agile setting, contributing to technical design, automation, and CI/CD, while mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for Cox Automotive platforms.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and Dev
- Ops teams to deliver features in an agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for reliable deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and reliability in production.
- Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
