Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (Clinical “X” Series) - Endourology

Expectations The successful candidate will have the foundation, preparation, and vision to pursue a productive and fulfilling career in academic urology. The candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise and proficiency in all aspects of endourology, including the surgical and medical management of stone disease. The candidate will be expected to contribute actively to the educational mission of the department through teaching, mentorship, and supervision of a diverse group of learners, including medical students, residents, fellows, and PA/NP students. The candidate will also engage in clinical and/or translational research, with opportunities for protected research time to support the development of a successful scholarly program. In addition, the candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the department through scholarly activities, participation in educational conferences, and other opportunities that advance the field of urology. Participation in appropriate professional societies and educational organizations is encouraged and expected. The candidate will also provide service to departmental and school committees in support of University and public service missions. Participation in call coverage and general urology clinical responsibilities will also be expected. The incumbent must foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment that fosters team science and multi-disciplinary patient care, adhere to University policies and procedures and be sensitive to the needs of patients from diverse backgrounds. This recruitment is being conducted at the assistant, associate, and full professor ranks. The resulting appointment will depend on the candidate's background, experience, and qualifications.
