We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• PALS certification
• Must be RRT, no CRT
• Experience with adult respiratory patient populations and occasional pediatric patients in the ER
• Experience with vent management, bipap, high-flow O2, assisting with intubations, bedside bronchs, and trach insertion and care
• Ability to respond to rapid responses, traumas, and codes

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1800-0630
• Weekend rotation varies based on unit needs and may include weekends as scheduled
• No call required
• Float throughout the hospital, including ER, PCU, MedSurg, and ICU
• Will not float to children’s areas unless comfortable
• Holiday expectation: 50% of holidays during the assignment
