Position: Floor Technician
Location: Lorton, VA
Pay Rate: $18.50–$20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Hire
Openings: 6–10 Positions Available
Start Date: Immediate

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Floor Technicians to join our team for a temporary-to-hire opportunity. This position offers full-time hours with the potential for permanent employment after contract hours worked.

Schedule

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM (40 hours per week)
• Occasional Saturday work may be required
• Overtime is available with supervisor approval

Job Responsibilities

• Perform floor stripping, waxing, and refinishing
• Complete carpet cleaning and maintenance for large commercial cleaning projects
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines while working at various job sites
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment

Requirements

• Reliable transportation is required due to the evening and overnight schedule
• Candidates will either meet directly at the job site or ride with the client to project locations
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive 7-year criminal background check and sex offender screening , as work will be performed in secure government facilities and financial institutions
• Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating floor care equipment
