Job Title: MIG Welder/ Tacker Employment Type: Full Time Location: Goldsboro, NC Pay: $16-18 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm

Job Summary: The MIG Welder is responsible for performing high-quality metal welding using the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG) process. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components according to specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, or other metals as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, wire feed, and gas flow
• Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
• Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding
• Work with production teams to meet workflow and schedule requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of on the job experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar welding role
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols (preferred)
• Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks
• Capable of lifting and positioning materials as required
