Beaver Street Food Co. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward to support our fast-paced Culinary team. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, utensils, equipment, and workspaces remain clean, sanitized, and organized. Your work directly supports our culinary team and enhances the experience of every guest we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dish machines, ensuring all dishes, utensils and kitchen tools are fully washed, sanitized and properly stored in the correct location.
• Maintain temperature and chemical levels as detailed in business standards.
• Maintain a clean working area, including sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep areas.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers, including steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas with the addition of loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Food Handler card (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Commitment to working at home games and athletic events, including evenings, weekends and varying start times as needed.
