Breast Radiologist

Radiology Partners is seeking full-time and part-time Breast Radiologists to join their practices in the greater Nashville area. This role involves a heavy concentration in dedicated breast imaging, including ultrasound, stereo, and MRI-guided breast biopsies, within a highly subspecialized model where screening exams are interpreted solely by the breast section. The ideal candidate will collaborate with local surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists.

• Covers 13 hospitals and 17 imaging centers across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a representative of the practice in the field of Breast Imaging, joining various committees to share subject matter expertise.
• Primarily responsible for mammography and helping on the general hospital worklist as capacity allows, focusing on US, XR and STAT CT.
• Reads and interprets Tomosynthesis Mammograms (Screening and Diagnostic).
• Performs Breast Procedures: Cyst aspiration, Biopsies (US and Stereotactic guided), Axillary node biopsy, Wire localization.
• Performs Women's Imaging Ultrasound.

Compensation

• Full-time median partner compensation.

• The salary range for this position is $600,000-$900,000.
• This role is also eligible for an an annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

• Day/1st Shift
• Full-time (30+ hrs/week)/FULLTIME
• General diagnostic imaging shifts available at the needs of the practice.

Requirements

• A desire to work in a collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists is required.
• Able to read and interpret Tomosynthesis Mammograms (Screening and Diagnostic) is required.
• Proficiency in Breast Procedures: Cyst aspiration, Biopsies (US and Stereotactic guided), Axillary node biopsy, Wire localization is required.
• Proficiency in Women's Imaging Ultrasound is required.
• Able to read and interpret Breast MRI is optional and strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in MR guided biopsies is optional and strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Lymphoscintigraphy is optional and strongly preferred.
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
• A one-year post residency fellowship in Breast Imaging is required.
• Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
• Licensed in or have the ability to be licensed in the state of TN and KY.
