Marketing Director

Base Pay $65,000.00 / Year Job Category General Employee Type Non-Exempt We are looking for a relationship-driven marketer to be a representation of Pinkerton Payroll & Insurance. You will spend your time meeting people, showing up at events, staying in front of our clients, and building a pipeline of new business. Additionally you will be handling client communication via social media, email campaigns and other forms of communication. You will not be quoting or selling our products. Your job is to fill the top of the funnel and hand qualified, interested prospects to our producers, who will take it from there. Your success is measured in relationships built and qualified opportunities delivered. You will call/visit our prospect list to set up appointments for our sales producers. Requirements 5 or more years in marketing, business development, community relations, or outside sales; B2B preferred We are looking for a people person! We need someone who enjoys walking into a room of strangers and starting a conversation Strong writing skills with experience running business social media accounts Highly organized, self-starting professional who can fill and manage their schedule Reliable transportation and a valid Florida driver's license; willing to work occasional early morning and evening for events Experience with CRM software's (Zoho a plus), Canva or similar design tools, Claude/ChatGPT, and email marketing platforms Background in insurance, payroll, financial services, or professional services is a strong plus Summary Represent Pinkerton Payroll & Insurance at Chamber of Commerce events, mixers, ribbon cuttings, and networking groups across Sarasota and Charlotte counties Set qualified appointments for our producers and follow up on all inbound inquiries within one business day Maintain marketing collateral and one-pagers so everything the team hands out is current and on-brand Log contacts, events and leads in our CRM with accurate lead-source tracking, and report this information monthly to direct report Identify, book, and attend local trades shows and business expos relevant to our target industries Coordinate company sponsorships - golf tournaments, youth sports, community events Organize and host lunch and learns and webinars, often co-hosted with carrier partners, CPAs, etc. on topics such as FL Workers Comp insurance, payroll, HR, etc. Build and maintain relationships with centers of influence: CPAs, bookkeepers, commercial bankers, realtors, HR consultants, attorneys, etc Establish a structured referral program with regular touchpoints Join and stay active in trade associations for the industries we serve including restaurant, construction, staffing, automotive, and non-profit Capture photo and video content at events and in the office to keep our social media accounts active Collect client testimonials, reviews and build short case studies for use in proposals and our website #J-18808-Ljbffr GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY
