Reference: PR/610153_1789487513Job DescriptionQA Manager required for Food & Beverage Manufacturer* QA Manager* Location: Oxnard, CAWe're looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance programs within a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee quality systems, audits, risk management, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality teams while driving a strong food safety culture across the facility.The QA / Technical Services Manager will have the following responsibilities:Lead all food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance programsMaintain and improve HACCP, Food Safety Plan (FSP), traceability, recall, and prerequisite programsPrepare for and lead regulatory, third-party, customer, and certification auditsManage non-conforming product investigations, corrective actions, and risk assessmentsDevelop, implement, and maintain SOPs, SSOPs, and quality documentation systemsDrive food safety culture initiatives and quality improvement programs across the facilityLead consumer complaint investigations and implement preventive measuresMonitor quality metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for continuous improvementManage ingredient, packaging, sensory, and supplier quality programsProvide leadership, coaching, and development for quality and laboratory teamsPartner with Operations and cross-functional teams to standardize processes and share best practicesManage department budgets, resources, and cost improvement initiativesThe ideal QA / Technical Services Manager candidate will have the following skillset:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field3+ years of quality systems leadership experience within food manufacturingHACCP, PCQI, and SQF Practitioner certifications requiredStrong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and quality management systemsExperience with regulatory, customer, and third-party auditsStrong root cause analysis, corrective action, and risk assessment capabilitiesAdvanced analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive cross-functional collaborationExperience with continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing methodologies preferredThermal Processing and Acidified Foods experience preferredPlease apply for more information!
