Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Mid 3x12-Hour Shift (13:00 - 01:30). The position requires working 3 weekends (Friday to Sunday) per 4-week schedule.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, you will deliver critical care to a diverse patient population while working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent clinical judgment and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department, including the management of trauma and emergency situations.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and provide treatment as per protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
• Manage patient triage and ensure timely care for critical cases.
• Document patient information according to hospital policies using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid State Nursing License.
• ACLS, BLS by AHA, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications are required.
• Preferred certifications include ENPC.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential.
• EPIC charting experience is preferred.
