Senior Interior Designer

Lead all phases of interior design and ensure projects meet firm goals and excellence standards Develop detailed design concepts, functional requirements, and project-specific criteria Integrate standalone interiors with broader architectural project concepts Lead interior design efforts and project teams Serve as a primary point of contact for client engagement Use graphic storytelling to pitch ideas, advance project delivery, and expand project scope Participate in marketing efforts and lead design presentations for prospective clients Build lasting professional relationships Prepare client presentation packages, external publications, and design award submissions Review design documentation for accuracy, legibility, and compliance with company delivery manuals Lead design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and pin-ups Motivate teams and mentor junior staff Coordinate clients, partners, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle Participate in construction administration and review submittals and finish samples Requirements 12+ years of commercial interior design experience Experience preparing comprehensive design packages, including architectural detailing Thorough knowledge of construction documentation Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited design school Advanced knowledge of all interior design phases for corporate projects of varying sizes and complexities Experience participating in construction administration and reviewing submittals and finish samples Space planning, concept development, finish selection, and specification experience Conceptual sketching ability desired Photoshop, SketchUp, or Illustrator experience highly desirable Excellent presentation skills Ability to manage multiple projects Working knowledge and application of building codes CCIDC / NCIDQ Certification a plus Proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite/Revit Unrestricted right to work in the United States Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive expertise in commercial interior design, including project management, client engagement, and comprehensive design package preparation.
