Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess the needs of patients and develop individualized therapy strategies aimed at helping them reach their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Coordinate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Engage collaboratively with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
• Teach Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families on therapy strategies that can be practiced at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust intervention plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the right path.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
