Travel RN - CCU

The TRAVEL RN CCU COST CENTER 653 role provides critical care nursing for adult patients in an ICU/CCU setting, supporting complex hemodynamic and life-support therapies. You will deliver safe, evidence-based care, manage high-acuity needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition using advanced critical care nursing standards.
• Administer and coordinate care for patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and specialty cardiac support therapies.
• Perform and support invasive bedside procedures, including central line and dialysis catheter insertions as applicable to scope.
• Maintain rigorous safety practices, including infection prevention and prompt identification of clinical deterioration.
• Utilize Meditech to ensure accurate charting, care documentation, and continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with team members during high-acuity care, including rotated floating as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license and be eligible to practice in the assigned region.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking and high-acuity decision-making.
• Possess NIH certification or NIH training requirements appropriate for critical care settings.
• Offer strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Show at least 2 years of ICU experience providing direct critical care.
