Role Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in a NICU setting, including patient assessment, data collection, and coordinating individualized care plans. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health information involving families and healthcare teams. Ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions through care coordination. Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing. Tailor patient and family education based on thorough assessments. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice. Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school. Current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification.
