Staff Accountant

General Information: Job title: Staff Accountant Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (flexible). No weekends or holidays. Position Summary: The Staff Accountant position is responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounting responsibilities for MBMC system entities. Position Responsibilities: Maintain and update accounting records. Create journal entries for applicable entities. Conduct month end and year end processes not limited to journal entries, reconciliations, document preparation. Prepare documents for audits. Reconcile system entity liabilities and assets accounts. Invoice various clients for rental space and miscellaneous services. Make deposits. Perform other duties as requested. Position Requirements: Two-year degree in accounting required. Four-year degree in accounting preferred. 1+ years of related work experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. Knowledge of accounting information systems a plus Strong communication skills Strong quantitative and analytical competency. Self-starter with problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
