Lymphedema Occupational or Physical Therapist, Outpatient - Full Time, Days - 15K Incentive

Job Title

Emphasis on lymphedema therapy preferred. Sign-On Bonus eligible $15,000. Will hire an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist. 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday. 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Weekend and Holiday inpatient rotation required by department. Benefits start first day of employment!

Overview

Job Summary: The licensed or registered Occupational Therapist (OT) provides skilled occupational therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
• Delegates to assistant, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
• Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Occupational Therapy Services.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor's Degree/Occupational Therapy
• Experience: None required.
• Supervisor Experience: None required.
• Licenses & Certification: Occupational Therapist License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree: Master's Degree/Occupational Therapy
• Experience: < 2 years
