Full Time Registered Nurse for Wound Care/Enterostomy Position in Queens, NY

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for our Wound Care/Enterostomy position in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate should have advanced experience in wound care and enterostomy, as well as a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Expertise in wound care and enterostomy
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and develop care plans
• Perform wound assessment and develop effective wound care plans
• Monitor patient vital signs and other parameters
• Administer medications, treatments, and other therapies
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Document patient information and care activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
