EMC Lead Project EngineerLocation: South West UK 2/3 days a week.Salary: Up to 65,000 + Bonus and great overall package An exciting opportunity has arisen with a major UK defence engineering organisation for an experienced engineer to take on a technical leadership role within an EMC and Radiation Effects team.This role sits across the full engineering lifecycle, supporting activities from requirements and design through to proving and validation, ensuring systems operate effectively in challenging electromagnetic environments.The RoleLead and coordinate EMC and Radiation Effects activities across multiple engineering programmesProvide technical input across requirements, design and provingSupport the use of test facilities and innovative proving approachesManage delivery of work on time, on cost and on qualityLine manage and develop a small team of specialist engineersWhat We’re Looking ForStrong experience in EMC and/or Radiation Effects engineeringBackground in design, verification, proving or requirements engineeringDemonstrated technical leadership or team management experienceGood understanding of electrical / electronic engineeringA collaborative leader with a proactive, adaptable approachEligibilityDue to the nature of the work, applicants must be British Citizens and eligible for UK security clearance.
