This position is physically demanding and requires consistent lifting, standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout the entire shift. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving products, reviewing packaging and Bills of Lading (BOLs), unloading products from containers, maintaining an organized and clean work area, and assisting with additional warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.Essential Job FunctionsUnload containers and shipments in a timely and safe mannerInspect incoming products for damages and verify shipment accuracyReview packaging labels, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and packing slipsSort and organize materials in designated warehouse locationsMaintain accurate documentation of received goodsPalletize, shrink wrap, and stage materials for storage or shipmentKeep work areas clean and organized to maintain safety standardsFollow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocolsAssist with inventory counts as neededPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or managerPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shiftFrequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reachingAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentRepetitive use of hands and armsAbility to work overtime as requiredAssociate can report any hazards and concerns to the Illinois Department of Labor by calling the Department’s Day and Temporary Labor Services Act toll-free hotline at View phone number on click.appcast.io or emailing at View email address on click.appcast.io Staffing and QFS does not provide any transportation resources or meals for our associates during any assignments.
