The Director of Nursing provides clinical leadership for an integrated healthcare setting, overseeing a nursing team of fewer than 25 staff. Reporting to the Administrator and Executive Director, this role advances quality improvement, regulatory readiness, staff retention, and clinical program expansion, with occasional local travel between care sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across the integrated healthcare setting.
• Supervise and support the nursing team.
• Oversee care planning and clinical assessment processes.
• Lead quality assurance, quality improvement, and infection control initiatives.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and readiness.
• Advocate for patients and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Manage nursing budgets and healthcare staffing needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address staff concerns through effective conflict resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Certified Director of Nursing certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in nursing administration.
• Knowledge of nursing administration, clinical assessment, and care planning.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
• Experience in healthcare staffing and budget management.
• Demonstrated leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
