Offering competitive rates and benefits./ppThe RN 11-7 Supervisor assumes responsibility for the center, including assessment, medication, distribution, treatment clinical documentation, and supervision of 11-7 Nursing Staff and other staff as needed. Works closely with the ADON, DON, and Unit Managers to ensure the safety and well being of the residents./ppQualifications:/ppGraduated of an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of NJ as a RN./ppCurrent CPR or certified within 90 days of hire./ppOther certifications may be required for other areas of the organization./ppPosition Summary:/ppThe RN 11-7 Supervisor assumes responsibility for the nursing staff of facility during the 11-7 shift. This includes patient assessments, medication distribution, treatment, clinical documentation, and supervision of Nursing Staff and other staff as needed./ppJob Responsibilities and Standards:/pp1. Audits immunization weekly on all guests./pp2. Completes admission chart audit on all admissions./pp3. Submits high cost meds report- ex: Lovenox, ARixtra, Epogen, Procrit and Aranes./pp4. Ensures narcotic Med Refill and Back up med are refilled and maintenance./pp5. Reviews admission order for accuracy./pp6. Monitors clinical issues or any staffing issues and all other assigned project as needed./pp7. Inputs the 24 hour report electronically on unit. Set up the discharge instructions on all the floors: (11-7 shift only)/pp8. In-services nursing staff as needed./pp9. Completes nursing acuity report daily./pp10. Responsible for weekly med room maintenance-returnables expired item, over the counter and monitors refrigerator items./pp11. Completes psychotropic summary every 1st Weekend of the month. Follow up with the nurses as needed./pp12. Sends wound report in a timely manner. Ensures that follow up documentation is completed and accurate./pp13. Performs skin assessment weekly. Ensure that follow up on all documentation and all intervention are in place./pp14. Completes infection control report as required./pp15. Develops care plan on all guests with facility acquired infection and nosocomial infection./pp16. Prepare reports for quarterly meeting as needed./pp17. Completes fall incident reports. Follows up with proper documentation and care plan./pp18. Prepares investigation report for falls with injury and ensure all documentation is in place as per regulatory agency (State and Ombudsman Standards)./pp19. Review and corrects all hot files/folder were reviewed by the unit clerk for medical records./pp20. Audits High Cost Med list example Lovenox-duration and submits report./pp21. Monitors high cost med usage-Therapeutic Interchange and Per Diem Exclusion List./ppPerforms assessments/BMS related to:/pp1. Skin/pp2. Cardiac/pp3. Respiratory/pp4. GI/pp5. Neurological/pp6. Muscular Skeletal/pp7. Renal/pp8. Pain/ppAccurately documents on the following forms:/pp1. Ambulation/Restorative care/pp2. Psychotropic Monitoring/pp3. Pain Management/pp4. Pressure Ulcer Management/skin assessment/pp5. Fall Prevention Strategies/pp6. Antibiotic documentation/pp7. Incidents/accident/pp8. Nurses Note day 1-5 and day 6 -Discharge Documentation./ppAccurately and timely completion of nursing assessment and data collection upon admission:/pp1. Fall Risk assessment/pp2.
