Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in an acute hospital setting with OB/GYN experience License: Client license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP required Must-Have: Experience in Labor, Deliver, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) and Newborn Nursery Charting experience with EPIC Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in OB/GYN. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients in all phases of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. Experience in LDRP and Newborn Nursery is crucial for this role. The RN should be capable of independently managing patient care in labor and delivery settings. Rotating weekend coverage is expected, with every other weekend included. On-call duties are required, as well as floating within the skilled area. Candidates must possess knowledge and experience in both low and high-risk maternal care. Charting proficiency in EPIC is a hard requirement for this position. Candidates will demonstrate skills in administration of blood products, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum care. Experience with external and internal fetal monitoring is advantageous. Candidates will also be involved in triaging obstetrical patients and managing complications during labor and delivery. All nurses in this role are expected to scrub and circulate during C-section cases. Successful applicants will join a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
