Responsibilities Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned. Complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment, and vehicles in a timely and cost‑efficient manner. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing wall and floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, basic plumbing work, minor electrical repairs, appliance repair, painting and refurbishment projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance, and “make‑ready” rooms as assigned. Qualifications Three or more years of maintenance experience. Ability to be on call if needed. General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code‑compliance systems. Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, and life and safety regulations. Ability to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled work hours. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient organizational and time‑management skills. Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
