Learning & Development Strategist

Hunter industries is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist, responsible for the creation and implementation of effective learning experiences in alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Essential Job Functions/Tasks Designing, developing, and delivering curriculum that supports objectives at the departmental and organizational levels aligned with the overall business plan, contributing to talent retention. Delivering training at all levels using a variety of instructional techniques, including classroom facilitation, eLearning modules, video conferences, and other methods. Developing evaluation and measurement procedures for training effectiveness and recommending continuous improvement. Working closely with stakeholders to understand needs and provide expert guidance on learning solutions. Applying instructional design principles to create compelling course content and evaluating existing designs for improvement. Planning and implementing team‑building programs to encourage cross‑functional collaboration and internal communication. Partnering with Human Resources and other stakeholders to align learning and development programs with organizational goals. Education/Training Required and Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field of study. Experience Required and Preferred 3+ years of relevant experience in Learning and Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Management. What You Bring Demonstrated knowledge of learning methodology and adult learning principles. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Outstanding presentation skills with the capability to facilitate developmental content to audiences of all sizes. Capability to design and deliver leadership and management development programs. Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Intermediate to advanced proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate, etc. Articulate preferred. Excellent project management skills with a commitment to quality; highly detail‑oriented and able to work independently to manage multiple projects within time constraints. Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts with Human Resources and cross‑functional business partners. Flexibility and adaptability to deliver results in a dynamic and ambiguous environment. Ability to obtain a valid passport and travel domestically and internationally. The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations regarding pay. Compensation offered will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job‑related factors, and geographic location.
