New York Senior Accountant

Joining a dynamic finance team, the full-time Senior Accountant in New York will manage the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, support month-end close activities, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Own and manage the accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations Prepare and analyze AR aging reports, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions Lead month-end close activities related to accounts receivable, including journal entries and account reconciliations Required qualifications 2-4 years of experience in accounting operations with a public company Solid understanding of US GAAP and its application to accounts receivable and general accounting processes Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite applications
