Maintenance Technician

divh2Maintenance Technician/h2pThe Maintenance Technicians primary goal is to provide exceptional service to our residents. The Maintenance Technician will work hand-in-hand with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide skilled, efficient and professional service./ppThrough dedication and uncompromised service, this position can be promoted to Maintenance Supervisor. The position of Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Property Manager. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property, including but not limited to:/pulliPerform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, appliances, and any other aspect as needed./liliPerform apartment turnover maintenance in three to five business days and turnover checklist completion. Turnover maintenance includes but is not limited to: installation of blinds, change filters, replace bulbs, replace drip pans as needed, and replace door stoppers, caulk, and other miscellaneous repairs as needed./liliCommon area maintenance includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure washing, cleaning windows etc./liliMonitor building exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc./liliHelp maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for area of responsibility./liliAssume primary responsibility for the safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise./liliEnter any newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory./liliKeep work area clean and orderly./liliObserve all safety rules./li/ulpQualifications/pulliMust have valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record proof of automobile insurance coverage./liliHVAC certification preferred./li/ulpSkills, Knowledge and Abilities:/pulliPossess effective time management skills and attention to detail./liliAbility to adapt to change in a composed manner./liliAbility to respect and maintain confidentiality./liliMaintenance experience knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances/liliAbility to lift heavy objects./liliAbility to communicate clearly with the residents./liliAbility to work cooperatively and in a teamwork environment./liliWilling to work on-call hours/li/ulpWe offer full-time, career-track positions with competitive pay, health, dental, vision and life insurance; housing discounts, vacation, paid holidays, exceptional 401k plan with employer match and much more!!!!/ppWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer/ppDrug Free Work Place/ppZRS Management is an equal opportunity employer.
