Senior Pharmacy Technician

$35 - $38 per hour

Beverly Hills, CA

We are looking for a senior pharmacy technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a specialty pharmacy setting (Non-Chain). Handling inbound and outbound phone communications with patients. Assist the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Maintaining patient and pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures. Reaching out to patients to obtain information required to process prescription refills and new prescription verifications. Responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties Research and follows up on unpaid insurance claims and billing problems. Knowledge of medical billing/collections practices and basic medical coding. Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations: Day Supply Minimum 5-year experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a specialty pharmacy setting (Non-Chain). Familiarity with Pioneer RX systems. Compensation $35 - $38/hr - PLUS Profit Sharing!!! #J-18808-Ljbffr
