As an Occupational Therapist, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and support staff, providing essential services to students in both general education and life skill classrooms, including those with autism and individualized support plans. Your work will foster vital developmental and adaptive skills, helping students thrive academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Pennsylvania
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Familiarity with working in life skill classrooms and supporting students with autism
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to create, implement, and monitor individualized support plans
• Team-oriented attitude and a flexible, compassionate approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students onsite from now through December
• Assess students’ needs and develop goal-oriented intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students’ educational and functional goals
• Maintain clear documentation of services provided and progress noted
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student accommodations
• Work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-4:00pm
