Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team at The University of Texas Medical Branch. This position will cover a growing Pediatric GI Clinic. Professional growth via Sodexo's Career Ladder. Money toward continuing education events. Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually. What You'll Do Experience in Pediatric GI is preferred. Areas of focus in this clinic include Short gut, IBD, low FODMAP, Nutrition Support, EOE, gastroparesis, as well as other GI related diet and conditions Experience coordinating with DMEs and WIC for LOMN, CCP, Title 19s preferred Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes on an ongoing basis Participate in departmental, clinical, and other meetings related to areas of practice Support Clinical Nutrition Manager in continuing to grow program offers through project work Utilize electronic medical records within the practice environment and be familiar with the Nutrition Care Process & Model and Epic Electronic System (preferred) What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire; Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.
