A delivery driver must be able and willing to perform all crew member functions as necessary./ppstrongEDUCATION/strong/ppNo High School Diploma or G.E.D. required./ppstrongGENERAL REQUIREMENTS/strong/pulliMust be 18 years of age or older./liliMust have a valid drivers license and no moving violations in the past 36 months./liliMust have a personal vehicle that is properly insured and meets safety requirements as per Company standards, and as required by the State of Ohio./liliMust be able to provide proof of insurance when requested./liliMust be able to pass State of Ohio physical requirements for auto licensing./liliMust have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction./liliMust have knowledge of basic math and Computer skills./liliMust have knowledge of the English language, including the meaning of words and grammar./li/ulpstrongMINIMUM CAPABILITIES/strong/pulliAbility to work at a fast pace./liliAbility to partake in various forms of training./liliAbility to pass required tests./liliAbility to read and understand rules and instructions./liliAbility to reach, see, talk, hear, stand, and walk quickly for a minimum of 8 hours a day./liliAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds at various times./liliAbility to read maps or find a specified route using other mapping resources./li/ulpstrongESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/strong/pulliDrives personal vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and delivers food products./liliDetermines the best route for delivering food products to each customer location./liliCollects payment from customers and calculates monetary exchange./liliUses established traffic or transportation policies and procedures./liliSecures all items for each order before leaving the store (chips, soda, side items, etc.)./liliFollows all traffic laws./liliHas knowledge of the delivery area and uses maps or other resources for best routing results./liliAnswers customer questions and concerns regarding Company products and services./liliStacks or piles containers, materials, or products./liliPlaces food and beverages in take-out containers for customers./liliProvides and portrays proper and professional customer service on every delivery./liliListens to oral instructions to determine work assignment./liliArrives promptly to work each scheduled day in proper uniform./liliEnsures all safety policies and procedures are being followed./liliMust be able to deliver customer orders in inclement weather./li/ulpstrongADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliPerforms all crew member essential functions when needed (see Crew Member Job Description)./liliLearns and perform other positions as needed./liliUses professional and proper oral and written communication techniques./liliUses knowledge of food handling rules./liliUnderstands Company and government food service regulations./li/ulpAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected Veteran status.
