CDL-A Trainee Driver - Paid Training + Mentorship

Job Description

New CDL-A holders, your first year behind the wheel doesn't have to be a guessing game. Get paid, one-on-one training from an experienced mentor before you ever run solo.

Pay and Scheduling Breakdown

Drivers earn $850 per week during training, paid every Friday
$1,300 to $1,500 average weekly gross once running solo
Top 20% of drivers earn $1,800+ per week
Safety and performance bonus opportunities
Weekly or bi-weekly home time after training

Freight & Equipment

No-touch dry van freight, Eastern Regional Fleet
Company-paid tolls and fuel program
24/7 dispatch support

What You'll Be Doing

Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
Haul no-touch dry van freight on regional routes
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate ELD logs
Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
Complete pickups and deliveries safely and on time

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
At least 120 hours of CDL-school training completed
Clean driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months
No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
Must pass hair and urine drug testing
Willing to learn and work safely with a mentor
