Cloud Engineer

Supporting mission requirements, the full-time Cloud Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments in AWS and Azure, ensuring compliance with DoD security frameworks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

Design and maintain secure cloud environments in AWS and Azure, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards

Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate secure cloud deployments

Optimize cloud networking configurations and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions for efficient operations

Required qualifications:

Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining GovCloud infrastructures across AWS and Azure

Proficiency in cloud architecture, networking, virtualization, and security best practices, including IaC tools like Terraform

Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud configurations, including VPC peering and IAM

Strong knowledge of the Authority to Operate (ATO) process and compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST standards

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or five years of equivalent experience in cloud engineering
