Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting within a Level I Trauma Center
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias as part of ongoing patient assessment and intervention
• Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as required by patient care needs
• Perform triage and coordinate care across a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license (compact license not accepted; must be active by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred), PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required (no pending certifications beyond contract start date)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Ability to complete pre-start, non-billable orientation modules (approximately 5 hours, self-reported)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification preferred
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
• Triage experience in a high-volume emergency department
