Shift Details:

• Shift is 7.5 hours after an unpaid lunch break.

• Shift will be either 8:30AM - 4:30PM or 9AM – 5PM and can be discussed further at an interview.

Dietitian Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reviews and evaluates food service and nutrition programs in childcare centers, day care homes, adult day cares, after-school programs, and shelters.

• Conducts on-site program reviews to assess compliance with CACFP requirements and regulations.

• Provides training and technical assistance on meal planning, record keeping, and program regulations.

• Reviews and approves or disapproves corrective action plans.

• Ensures compliance with Federal and State nutrition and food service regulations.

• Maintains strong organization, communication, and time management skills.

• Uses Microsoft Office and other computer applications for program documentation and reporting.

• Must hold a Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

• May require monthly travel within the assigned region.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian (RD), certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Minimum of one (1) year related experience.

• Additional certifications may be required.

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
