QA/QC Manager

$117,594–$171,692 base + annual incentive (flexible for the right people-leader) A leading, 100% employee-owned MEP contractor is hiring a QA/QC Manager to lead quality across one of its high-volume prefabrication/fabrication shops (pipe skids, MEP fabrication). This is a shop-based, manufacturing-quality leadership role — not a traditional jobsite field QC position. You’ll be the go-to quality authority on the shop floor, partnering daily with dozens of trades, service, and logistics staff to drive a culture of quality, consistency, and continuous improvement. With a strong line into division leadership, you’ll have real visibility and influence from day one. What you’ll do Own quality across all components of a high-volume prefab/fabrication shop Serve as the central QA/QC authority, collaborating across trades, service, and logistics Champion lean/continuous-improvement initiatives and mature quality systems Lead root-cause and corrective-action efforts (RCCA, 8D, FMEA) Uphold and evolve ISO 9001-aligned quality standards What we’re looking for A people leader first — collaborative, credible, and able to influence without direct authority Background in manufacturing quality (industrial, fabrication, or semi-adjacent environments) Strong lean/CI and quality-systems foundation (ISO 9001, RCCA, 8D, FMEA, root-cause) Demonstrated stability and career growth Degree extremely preferred; equivalent related field experience considered 100% employee-owned — you share in the success you help build Zero-premium healthcare — medical, dental & vision fully paid for the employee 401(k) with 50% company match, no cap , immediate 100% vesting Annual performance bonus, paid parental leave, generous PTO Company-paid professional memberships and licenses Local candidates preferred; relocation considered case-by-case for the right person.
