Aircraft Mechanic III

OLH Technical Services, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III. Position responsibilities include maintaining repairs and modifying aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty. The role also involves maintaining and repairing aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. Technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems is required to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition and operation. Professional technical expertise and guidance are needed to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals. Work typically requires a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair, and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.

Position requirements include a minimum of 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in providing technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers is required. Excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule are necessary. Experience in providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts specifically those related to sheet metal repairs and fabrication of sheet metal parts is required. The ability to measure and evaluate structural aircraft damage is required. Knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to layout, fabricate, repair, and assemble sheet metal are required. A valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is strongly preferred.
