School Psychologist (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support students across our K–12 school district in Portsmouth, Virginia. As a School Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success through assessment, consultation, intervention, and mental health support.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports.
Participate in eligibility meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) team meetings.
Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
Provide evidence-based interventions and recommendations to support student achievement.
Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support planning as needed.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations.

Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist License issued through the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is required.
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
