Sit Down Propane Forklift Operator

Newville, PA

Sit Down Propane Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a propane-powered sit-down forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, follow all safety procedures, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Duties:

Operate a sit-down propane forklift safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy.
Move materials and finished goods to designated warehouse locations.
Stack pallets and materials while maintaining product integrity.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems as needed.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience operating a sit-down propane forklift preferred.
Valid forklift certification is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Basic math and counting skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
