Construction Estimating-Purchasing Assistant

Estimating Purchasing Assistant
Assumes the role of Estimating Purchasing Assistant for different internal divisions. Helps to produce job estimates for all developments within the company for all divisions. Assists & monitors budgets and product specifications on all homes built within assigned locations in part through the approval of labor and material purchase orders. Assists Team with any necessary cost analysis, variance and margin reporting. Helps foster professional relationships with field office personnel in order to maintain strong communication between subs/vendors & the company.
Requirements and Qualifications
Prefer individuals with 2+ years' experience in estimating within the commercial or homebuilding Bachelors Degree in Construction, Business, Finance or other related field preferred. Understanding of Estimating and Preconstruction Purchasing. Extensive knowledge of the homebuilding or Commercial Construction process. Strong computer skills for Estimating/Purchasing & Preconstruction (Excel, Word, BuilderTrend, OnScreenTakeoff, etc.).
