Warehouse Coordinator - Lake Charles, LA

Are you an experienced warehouse leader who is proficient on how to keep operations organized, safe, and effective? We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Coordinator to support our fuel and lubricant distribution facility in Lake Charles, LA. In this role, you will coordinate customer orders, support warehouse associates and drivers, maintain inventory accuracy, and help promote a safe, productive work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate product packaging to ensure customer orders are accurate and complete.
• Support product quality assurance processes and help maintain high service standards.
• Ensure proper and routine maintenance of facility equipment.
• Lead inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and within a safe environment.
• Supervise warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of the equipment.
• Train, and evaluate the performance of warehouse employees, coordinating with the Operations Manager and Human Resources Department.
• Responsible for the efficiency of utilization of resources including the available personnel.
• Follow and help enforce federal, state, and local regulations, including FMCSA requirements and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with HAZMAT, FMCSA, DOTD, and other applicable local and state regulations.
• TWIC credential preferred.
• Acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
• Strong commitment to OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to stay organized and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

 Physical Requirements

This position requires regular movement throughout the warehouse and the ability to safely perform physical duties associated with warehouse operations.

The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands to handle tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

The employee may occasionally lift up to 45 pounds and move or push up to 51 pounds in accordance with safety guidelines. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required. The role may also require operating a forklift or similar warehouse equipment.
