Construction Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Construction Treatment/Plants & Infrastructure Last Updated: 5/29/26 Lake Tahoe, NV — Full‑time — $130,000 - $160,000 DOE Currently looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager/Estimator for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant and water infrastructure to fill an opening in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area with a rapidly growing leader in treatment plant and pump station construction. Interested candidates must not have more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years and have 7-10+ years of experience in this industry (self‑performed treatment plant construction). Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of projects related to water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, tanks, clarifiers, filtration systems, and chemical feed facilities. Will be responsible for estimating and managing projects ranging from $5 to $100M in size. Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets. Run assigned project(s) to meet or surpass budget and on time completion. Collect and code project cost documents and continually monitor and update the budget to reflect changes in work. Supervision of Project Engineer(s) who will monitor project schedules and review work schedules for improving work methods. Oversee the timely submittal and completion of documentation required by the owner and agencies. Prepare subcontractor and supplier agreements to be executed and prepare correspondence to document changes in work or costs. Work with foreman and superintendents to monitor all activities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment for crews, subcontractors and the public. Promote good public relations with owners, subcontractors, and the public. Estimating & Bidding Analyze plans, specs, and bid documents for treatment plant projects to develop accurate cost estimates. Prepare quantity takeoffs for earthwork, piping, concrete, process equipment, electrical and controls, and instrumentation. Solicit and review vendor/subcontractor quotes, ensuring alignment with project requirements and bid scope. Compile bid proposals and support value engineering exercises to enhance constructability and reduce cost. Maintain unit pricing databases for treatment plant construction components. Requirements Four year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or other Engineering field. Proven Project Management/Estimatingskills in Water/Wastewater self-performed construction. Skill in successfully leading project teams and preconstruction with structural concrete, mechanical process piping and excavation experience. Team player with strong work ethic. Proven leadership skills. Project experience in the $5M- $100M range. Working knowledge of Design Build and alternative delivery methods is a Big Plus. Compensation The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $130,000 – $160,000 DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus, company provided vehicle/w gas card, Full Medical coverage and paid vacation/PTO.
