Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting at a Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotation as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and timely patient care
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as operationally required
• Be available to work up to 48 hours per week and cover applicable holidays per facility rotation requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience (strictly enforced)
• At least 1 completed prior travel nursing assignment required; first-time travelers considered only with 3+ years of recent ER experience
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be honored

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3+ years of recent Emergency Room experience preferred
• Large hospital experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
