This vital role involves overseeing the labor and delivery unit, performing various deliveries, and managing both high and low-risk obstetric evaluations, alongside urgent gynecological consultations, with a schedule structured around 24-hour call shifts, approximately 6.5 per month. Responsibilities and Duties Oversee the labor and delivery unit, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Triage patients effectively to prioritize urgent needs. Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as required. Manage high and low-risk obstetric evaluations and emergencies. Conduct urgent gynecological consultations and surgeries. Provide education and mentorship to residents and staff. Collaborate with OB/GYN peers on complex surgical cases when necessary. Additional Information Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required. Facility utilizes Epic EMR.
