Your Mission

• Set up and run a sheetfed offset press to meet quality, schedule, and productivity goals
• Install plates; set colors; adjust ink/water balance; maintain registration and densities
• Swap blankets and cylinders; clean ink fountains and units between jobs
• Continuously inspect output, spot defects, and correct immediately
• Optimize machine speed and make precise adjustments to sustain throughput
• Recalibrate equipment and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime
• Accurately log counts, makereadies, and waste
• Communicate job status during shift transitions; escalate issues to the Team Lead and collaborate on fixes
• Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and HazCom

What You Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on offset press operation
• Strong knowledge of lithographic principles, color management, and finishing processes
• Ability to interpret job tickets and work comfortably with computer and mechanical systems
• Understanding of predictive and productive maintenance practices
• Track record of monitoring equipment for speed and quality
• Physical readiness: stand for extended periods (including 10–12 hours on concrete), bend, perform repetitive tasks, lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally
• Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused; strong communicator who works well independently and on a team

About the Work

As a key contributor in our print production workflow, you’ll ensure every run meets client expectations and our own high bar for quality and timeliness. Your mastery of setup, color, and maintenance will keep the press performing at its best with minimal downtime.
