Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 5 x 8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 13-week assignment | Call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Main OR setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support and assist with Neuro/Spine, General Surgery, and Orthopedic surgical procedures
• Operate and manage OR equipment throughout the perioperative process
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR
• Respond to call requirements as scheduled per unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Experience with General Surgery and Orthopedic procedures
• Current BLS certification
• NIH certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgical system
• Experience with Maxillofacial (Max Face) procedures
• Orthopedic specialty experience beyond general OR background
