Executive Director, Lead Negotiator About the Company Globally acclaimed financial services company specializing in investment management & trading services Industry Financial Services Type Public Company About the Role The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Lead Negotiator to take on a pivotal role in leading the Americas coverage function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of contract negotiation professionals across the United States, South America, and Mumbai. This role involves direct supervision of the team in the negotiation of a wide range of trading documentation, including various agreements and arrangements that support diverse business and client needs. The Executive Director will also be the primary point of contact for internal and external negotiation-related queries, driving strategy and execution across negotiation workflows, and ensuring the team's compliance with regulatory changes. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in negotiating trading agreements, with a strong understanding of key provisions and their negotiability. A background in managing teams of negotiation professionals is essential, as is a proven track record of working with senior stakeholders across various business functions. The role requires an individual with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a JD being preferred, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, trading-floor environment. The ideal candidate will be an effective leader, confident decision-maker, and possess the skills to mentor and develop team members.
