Prep Cook
We are looking for a reliable Prep Cook to assist with daily kitchen operations. The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting cooks and chefs during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, chop, slice, and prepare ingredients
- Measure and portion food items according to recipes
- Assist cooks with basic food preparation
- Stock and organize kitchen stations
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment
- Store food properly and label items as needed
- Help receive and put away deliveries
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight
- Team-oriented and dependable
Schedule: Full-time or part-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
