We continue to invest heavily in the best available manufacturing tools and equipment needed to adhere to Tate's world class standards and in keeping with our Planet Passionate sustainability strategy, our focus is on having minimal climate impact.We are excited by potentially welcoming you as part of our team as we continue to grow on a worldwide scale.The Maintenance Technician installs and maintains facility equipment and machinery in order to maintain the required production levels under minimal supervision.What You'll DoChecking system functionality by running diagnostic testsUsing power and hand tools (e.g. hosts and cranes) to install new systems and replace defective parts.Repairing devices/Lasers/Robotic fixtures/ Paint Equipment/Assemble models/air compressors/ general facility.Installing complex mechanical systemsAssembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipmentReading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.Follows all Company safety rules and regulations including LOTO and wears all required PPE.Reads and understands maintenance work orders.Accurately performs daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required per established PM programs and completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.Mentors and/or trains existing and/or new maintenance employees.Perform any other duties as assigned or directed by Team Leader / Supervisor.Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.What You'll BringHigh School Diploma or GED required.Certification or equivalent experience in mechanical field.4 years' prior maintenance experience preferred.Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted.Ability to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift.Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.Ability to accurately use, read, and understand various precision instruments including, but not limited to: Gauges, Meters, Basic MeasurementsKnowledge of current OSHA, and ANSI standards.Preferred knowledge of computers, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with accuracy and integrity.Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.What You'll GetPay range: $25 USD per hour.Career Scope and Advancement: As we grow, new positions and career opportunities arise, offering accelerated paths for the right candidates, locally and globally.World of Wellness Philosophy: We empower you to take charge of your health and well-being.
