Beyond offering logistics jobs, we build careers and fuel the future of foodservice distribution.​ Transportation Supervisor – Apopka (Orlando) What You’ll Do: You’ll lead a fast-paced transportation team that keeps critical deliveries running smoothly and safely. This isn’t just about moving products - it’s about people, performance, and precision. If you're a logistics leader who knows how to motivate teams, resolve issues on the fly, and keep things rolling no matter what, you’re in the right place. In This Role, You’ll: Oversee and optimize daily transportation activities, including route analysis, delivery performance, and staffing needs Schedule and manage equipment and personnel to meet delivery demands, including special or supplemental orders Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance providers for timely repairs Coach and support team members through performance evaluations, feedback, and daily motivation What You’ll Bring: 3+ years of transportation or food distribution experience, including supervisory roles Working knowledge of DOT regulations, driver safety, routing software, and logistics reporting Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills - you know how to lead through complexity Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, drivers, and external partners Work in a temperature-controlled warehouse - dry, chill, and freezer zones Bachelor’s degree preferred (but not required); management or operations-related fields a plus Experience working in unionized environments strongly preferred Ability to travel as needed and work onsite in a 24/7 operation Skill and ability to: Supervise a diverse workforce of up to 100 employees Resolve and report delivery issues between drivers and customers: other customer service issues Supervise and motivate employees in a team-based environment Interpret transportation operations anomalies and identify appropriate solutions Prepare administrative and technical documents and reports Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service Travel via airplane and drive an automobile Act in accordance with GSF’s Values and Creed The Schedule & Setting: Full-time, on-site supervisory role in a temperature-controlled warehouse Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday Supports a 24/7 operation with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Leads a large-scale transportation team focused on safety, reliability, and service Pay & Benefits: Pay commensurate with experience + Bonus Eligible Weekly pay (every Friday) Health, dental, and vision benefits available after 30 days 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and more Company-provided uniforms and work shoes
