Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo,
CA. This position is Full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II performs duties relating to the filling and
dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing
units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner.
Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining
the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)

Required qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
- Minimum of one year (>2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated
health system and current PTCB certification - or 2 years (>4160 hours)
hospital pharmacy in not PTCB certified.
Preferred qualifications:
* Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some
states for pharmacy technicians)
* Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic
health records (EHR)

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this
position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other
applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional
compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus
opportunities.
